Happy Holidays to all. Wishing you the best from the beautiful island of Langkawi, Malaysia. We had a stormy 4 day sail from Singapore, but the islands here are so warm and tropical, lush and green..the arrival makes the travel worthwhile. We had to dodge freighters and outrun fishing boats but we arrived safely, steering without the auto pilot the entire way. Our new auto pilot (shipped to us from West Marine) should arrive soon. Once Ken installs it, we will be ready to head to our next destination, Phuket, Thailand.

Leaving Singapore.

Storms the entire passage.

The eagle, guardian of the islands.

Cool bridge. We took a cable car to the top of this mountain.

The islands of Malaysia.

Beauty and talent!

Lunch on the beach.

Statue in the park but there are water buffaloes wandering the island.

Lovely walkways in the park.

Merry Christmas you two intrepid sailors!

Thank you for keeping us up to date with your posts and pics. We still look forward to driving to Olympia and seeing a disgustingly long slide show entitled "What we did on our summerssss vacation!"

Love to you both and as always fair winds and following seas and of course keep your crackers dry.
