Hello from the Cape Verde Islands

We had a good 7 day downwind sail from the Canary Islands. We spent some time on the Illa da Sal and are now on Sao Viciente Island. The people here are welcoming and we are rested and ready for the next leg of the journey. The Atlantic Ocean crossing. We leave tomorrow for the 15 day passage to Barbados, in the Caribbean.

We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Good luck on crossing the Atlantic! What an amazing adventure you've had! I am still locked in my cubicle watching the clouds. Charles

Hi there

We are currently cruising the Med (started August 2008 from Slovenia) presently in Greece (Kos). Have plans to eventually cross the Atlantic and sail back to New Zealand. Would be interested to keep in touch regarding your experiences crossing the Atlantic and also of the Caribbean. See out blog at capnbuckandpippy.blogspot.com
