Hello from Ensenada!

It feels really good to be on a dock and so close to home. We have now completed the "Baha Bash" and what a bash it was. Cabo San Lucas to Magdalena Bay proved to be a long, hard pound upwind. It took 3 days to go 150 miles. We were stranded in Mag Bay for several days with a broken alternator.

There was no wind on the passage from Mag Bay to Turtle Bay, so we motored the entire way. We liked Turtle Bay and stayed a week, waiting for a full force gale wind to pass. From there, we had a "buddy boat", KAY II, with Kay and Bob and their cat Sophie on board. It was nice to have another boat with us at the anchorages (Cedros Island and San Carlos).

We will leave for San Diego on Sunday. It is only 65 miles from here. Once in California, we plan to have some family time visiting Ken's Mom and Paula's sisters.

Another hitch-hiker.

Magdalena Bay where we were stranded.
Not much there.

Just a small fishing village.

This is Gregario, the Capitana de Puerto.
He was very helpful!

Ensenada at last! Our last stop in Mexico.

Still lovin it after all these years!
