Greetings from Pilos, Greece. We have been island hopping in Greece for over a month now, experiencing many different sailing conditions and wonderful bays and vilages. We got stuck in Tinos for a week because a Meltemi wind of 40 knots was blowing. Some of our stops were a bit crowded with summer charter boats but we were always able to find a secluded spot.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary on mainland Greece in the town of Lavrion and enjoyed a nice seafood dinner in a resturant on the quay.

We have the urge to see a different country so tomorrow we set sail (300+ miles) for Sicily. We should be there in 3 days if all goes well.

Quarry Bay on the island of of Fournoi...all to ourselves!

The charming streets of Mykonos.

Mykonos windmills.

On top of Mykanos.

Pink pelicans are locals around the town.

We took a bus ride to Athens. What a massive city!

The Parthenon and the ancient ruins were impressve.

Heading out to dinner to celebrate our 25th
wedding aniversary. Paula totally surprised
me with the red dress and silver shoes.
She looked beautiful.
