Hola from Spain! We left France on August 26 for an overnight sail across the Gulf de Lion to Spain. After several beachfront anchorages we made our way to Barcelona. What a great city! We spent 4 days here exploring and admiring the diverse archtecture and history.

We are now cruising down the coast making our way to Gibralter where we will prepare for our final ocean passage across the Atlantic (after hurricane season).

Can you believe we have now traveled almost 3/4 of the way around the world? WOW!

The streets of old town, Barcelona.

Notice the skull and dager and the crown. This was
on the ceiling.

The Gothic Quarter of Barcelona was filled with
historical sites and statues.

One of Spains great artists was Gaudi. The next pictures
are of his work.

The Sagrada Familia Cathedral was started by
Gaudi in the 19th century and is still under
construction.

The National Palace, Palau Nacional.

Steet Performers on the famous Las Ramblas street.

Street performers in the Gothic Quarter. Some
were playing instruments we had never seen before.

Beautiful Barcelona!
