On July 12 we headed across the Ionian Sea to Italy. With a combination of no wind, too much wind, and a little good sailing we arrived in Sicily 56 hours later. Sicily and southern Italy are very beautiful. We made several stops at wonderful villages, anchoring as much as possible to avoid the expensive marinas. We are now in Rome!
In a few days we will continue up the Italian coast then cross the sea to Corsica and France.
